"We had nearly 100 divers swarming over our 8.5 acre spring fed quarry, following a series of clues from one submerged attraction to another – from the surface it looked like a shark feeding frenzy! Amazing that the diver who won – one of the youngest we had, has racked up over 200 dives and attainted Master Diver status at the age of 15. He is clearly the face of the next generation of divers, carrying the integrity of classic diving brands like Aquadive into the future," says Glen Faith, owner of Mermet Springs.
The Aquadive line is composed of four models: the Bathyscaphe 100N ($1490), Bathyscaphe 100 DLC (black coated case $1990), Bathyscaphe 100 SS (stainless case, edition of 500, $1990) and Bathyscaphe 300 (depth rated to 5000 meters $2990). Every aspect of an Aquadive's design and execution reflects thoughtful precision: from original German CNC machine crafted cases to engraved ceramic bezel inserts. Their look is unmistakably classic and unique in a market filled with dive watches assembled from common catalogue components.
