Aquadive DIVE Watches
AquaDive is a fresh new watch maker on the streets. Their watches are designed in the USA, constructed in Switzerland with cases that are CNC machined and finished in Germany. More interesting is their use of NOS (new old stock) components in the manufacturing process. In some cases such as the NOS model numerous parts from the casing to quartz are brought back from the past.

A legendary name from the early days of scuba diving is back.
Aquadive, now part of the Synchron
group (Isofrane dive watch straps)
has assembled only 60 examples of this NOS diver using a limited
quantity of NOS components.

Aquadive NOS Diver
"In the 1960s and ‘70s, Aquadive turned out a quiver of unmistakably chunky dive watches, including one of the first 1,000 meter water resistant cases and one that incorporated a Bourdon tube depth gauge. The Aquadive name has recently been raised from the deep with two new retro-styled models. But the one we want is the real deal: the limited edition NOS Diver, which features an original 1960s case and plastic crystal updated with a new Swiss automatic movement. "

The feel of the Aquadive Bathyscaphe 300
I would like to share with you a quote, directly from a retail owner in San Francisco - "this beats the S*#& out of anything that I've seen from Tag and Oris" two brands that he used to carry. He was referring to the case and the finish work. The bezel also caught his eye.

The unexpected (but very welcome) return of Aquadive
As some of you may remember, my favourite watch is one that was made for a few short years from 1973: the Aquadive Time-Depth, an electronic** watch with an oil-filled Bourdon Tube depth gauge, that was the first of its kind.
